Overview
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read the policy below so you know how returns and refunds work at Backseat HQ.
Contact Us First
Before sending anything back, please contact us so we can help resolve the issue. Do not send any items back until we have provided you with return instructions. Returns sent without contacting us first, or before receiving return instructions, may be delayed or unable to be processed. Reach out with your order number and a short description of the problem, and we'll guide you through the next steps.
Where to Send Returns
Approved returns must be sent only to the return address we provide to you. Please do not send items to the original sender, manufacturer, or supplier address shown on your package, as doing so may delay or prevent your return from being processed and may make you ineligible for a refund.
Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. After 30 days, we're unable to offer a refund or exchange.
Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and (where applicable) include the original packaging, tags, and accessories. Items that show signs of use or are not in resalable condition may not qualify for a refund.
Damaged, Defective, Wrong, or Missing Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, is the wrong product, or part of your order is missing, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging where possible. We'll make it right with a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.
Return Shipping Costs
For standard returns (such as a change of mind), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If the return is due to our error - a damaged, defective, wrong, or missing item - we'll cover the cost of return shipping or send a replacement.
Original Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where an item was damaged, defective, or sent in error. In those cases, we'll refund applicable shipping costs.
Processing Times
Some of our products are fulfilled by our suppliers and may require additional processing time before shipping or before a return can be completed. We'll keep you updated throughout the process.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you about the status of your refund. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear.
Items That May Not Be Eligible
Certain items may not be eligible for return or refund, including final sale or clearance items, personalized or custom-made products, hygiene-sensitive items, and items that have been used or damaged after delivery. Any such exclusions will be noted where applicable.
